Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

This note applies to WebCenter Content (UCM) instances configured with the Framework Folders (FF) component.

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
If the same file (for example 'Photo.jpg') is checked in multiple times (let's say n times, where n>1) in the same FF folder, the primary file is automatically renamed by prefixing its original name with 'Copy(n) of'. Using the previous example primary file's name, the resulted file name is 'Copy(n) of Photo.jpg'.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
It is expected to see the same primary file name each time we check in the same file in the same FF folder, especially because this behavior is not observed when the FF folder is not specified.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Check In a file named 'Photo.jpg' in the same FF folder, many times.
2. At each check in operation, the primary file is renamed in sequence: 'Copy(2) of Photo.jpg', 'Copy(3) of Photo.jpg' ... 'Copy(n) of Photo.jpg'

BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this behavior, the users will see a different file name checked in.
