WebCenter Content: Imaging AXF Solution is Returning All Records for an Application Search (Doc ID 2576835.1)

A PeopleSoft application is calling the ExecuteSearch service in WebCenter Content: Imaging. This was successful in 11g, but is failing to execute certain searches in 12c.

When the 12c search uses the variable ABC = XXXXXX, the correct results are returned.
***** "ABC" is the actual field name in Imaging.

When the 12c search uses WXYZ_ID = XXXXXX, all content items in the specified Imaging Application are returned, and the logs show that a blank search was executed.
****** The actual field name in Imaging is "WXYZ ID".

Manually executing the search in a browser by entering the below URL returns all content items:

https://<imagingserver>/imaging/faces/Pages/UrlTools.jspx?ToolName=ExecuteSearch&SearchName=Member+Search+All&WXYZ_ID= 871356

Changing the variable name from WXYZ_ID to WXYZ+ID returns the expected document:

https://<imagingserver>/imaging/faces/Pages/UrlTools.jspx?ToolName=ExecuteSearch&SearchName=Member+Search+All&WXYZ+ID=871356
