"Retry Failed Reconciliation Event" Job Adds Then Removes Child Entitlement Entries In OIM As Well As Target (Doc ID 2576885.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 02, 2021

Applies to:

Identity Manager - Version 11.1.2.3.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

A reconciliation event is created for a child entitlement entry on a target in which there is a complex (i.e. more than one) recon attribute rule present.  While OIM is processing the recon event there is a problem (any problem - reason for failure is not the goal of this KM) and the recon event goes into a failed state.

After running the "Retry Failed Reconciliation Event" job it is seen that the "Resource History" contains the "Reconciliation Update Received" process task in which you see the child entry being added and then removed resulting in the OIM User no longer having the entitlement (also remove in child tables) and the target also having the value removed
