Symptoms

You have an existing or newly created SQL*plus script containing '$' in its name ( for example, my$script.sql which contains: select 'x' from dual;)
It is working fine until version 12.x under windows, such as:

Though the file "my$script.sql" exists, SQL*Plus fails to open it.

Changes

 New version 19.3.x of SQL*Plus is being used.
