Symptoms
Oracle Access Manager 11g (OAM 11.1.2.3.x) Incorrect Error Message For Disabled User When Using Novell Directory Server (NDS)
- OAM authentication for a disabled LDAP user fails with an External Error Code OAM-2, and displays "An incorrect Username or Password was specified"
- The expectation is that OAM authentication for a disabled LDAP user fails with an External Error Code OAM-5, and displays "The user account is locked or disabled. Please contact the System Administrator.", as seen when Oracle Unified Directory (OUD) or Oracle Internet Directory (OID) are used as the Identity store.
