Symptom 1: Errors when trying to access the CS native UI
Get the following error when trying to access the CS native UI at http://<LB or OHS>/cs.
Tried accessing the CS native UI at http://<UCM_host>:16200/cs and initially saw a page stating it was unable to download 'resources/layouts/Trays/Oracle/space.gif'. Then the page refreshed with the following error.
If the UCM server is behind a firewall and UCM is only accessible through OHS or LB, then trying to access http://<UCM_host>:16200/cs is not an option. Instead, set the following in CS config.cfg and restart UCM to help verify you see the same message. Alternatively, this same error was found in the UCM diagnostic log.
In summary, there were no relevant error messages found in the UCM server logs other than the GET_FILE errors as they corresponded with the 404 errors found in the access.log and browser tracing for same web resource files. The GET_FILE service shouldn't be needed for web resource files as they're available on the file system in the <domain>/ucm/cs/weblayout/resources directory.
