Forms Will Not Disconnect After Client Idle Time Is Reached (Doc ID 2583131.1)

Symptoms

1. Forms 12.2.1.3.

2. Various ways have been attempted to force Forms to disconnect due to a specific amount of idle time:

a. Set user's DB profile to have an IDLE_TIME of 5.

b. set FORMS_TIMEOUT=5 and heartBeat=20.

c. Used this document to set session-timeout in plan.xml:

<Note 1073239.1> How to Perform Basic Tuning of Timeout Parameters for Forms 11g.

3. After the specified idle time the Forms session does "not" time out and the session is still active.
