ORDS Cannot Handle "V" In Requests as There is a Public Synonym Named 'V'

19.1 ORDS + Apache Tomcat/8.5.41
When performing a GET request with a V as filter, for example:
ords/demo_test/V
will result in ORA-20001: Path=V rejected
The problem is caused only when the following line is added in the code like :
When apex_util.set_security_group_id(l_workspace_id); is removed, then it seems works fine using 'v'.
