Flex Parent Asset's Tags Attribute Values Are Deleted After Editing And Saving Asset (Doc ID 2584346.1)

Goal

Flex family parent assets tags value can only be added by searching the asset, right click and adding the values.
After adding a tag value(s), the values will be deleted when we update the flex parent asset (edit and save) in contributor UI.
This doesn't happen for Flex child assets.

1) Is there a way that we can enable Tags attribute to parent assets like the way it appear in asset form mode for Children assets?
2) Is there a way that we can maintain a parent asset's previous entered tags values after updating the asset multiple times for content updates?
