OMA iphone IOS For MFA: Register New Account Failed With Error Related To Device Token (Doc ID 2588082.1)

Goal

Customer is trying to use OMA for the Multi Factor authentication.  They are able to build the .ipa bundle correctly with the unique identifier registered in the apple developer account of the client. They have the push notification certificates activate on apple developer for their Bundle Id and when opening the app the first time, they are asked to give permissions for the notifications.

However, they still receive an error while trying to register the new account in the application:
"The app has not yet received a device token from Apple.Notifications can only be registered once the app has a valid device token."
