Removing a favorite from Content UI triggers a reindex of the item

Steps to reproduce
---------------------------------------------------
Using ADF Content UI a user
- browses to a folder in the folder structure
- selects the star to add the folder to the users private favorites
- later the user views the favorites and selects the star to remove the favorite
- all content in the folder and subfolder are marked for reindex in content server

In our specific case a user had a top folder as a favorite and when removing it about 1.5 million documents started reindex. And then also AutoSuggest followed to reindex documents with a lot of db traffic.
