Goal

This document provides instructions about how to remove Oracle APEX from the database.

If APEX is not being used, it is safe to remove it. This is a common scenario when upgrading old database versions, like from 12c to 19c,
as APEX used to be pre-installed in database 11g and 12c, but was not always used. In those cases, the recomendation is to remove it.
