Symptoms

Oracle Internet Directory (OID) 11g or 12c.

Running manageProvProfiles utility works to configure a provisioning profile for Oracle Label Security (OLS).

When creating an OID user into the defined event, the prov profile does not update.

DIP log wls_ods1-odl-handler-diagnostic.log shows:

The database (DB) account is accessible via sqlplus and OID ldapbinds work from the database and connectivity works by logging in with an OID user via sqlplus.
