Troubleshooting Unresponsive Oracle Identity Manager (OIM) Identity Console While Task Counters for Pending Tasks get Retrieved for Display (Doc ID 2597094.1)

Purpose

The purpose of this document is to show step by step how to troubleshoot an OIM User Interface (UI) issue.

In this particular case the UI issue is the following:

When any user login into OIM identity console, numbers indicating pending tasks (red numbers inside a red bubble) are not rendered in the corresponding tiles ( 

Certifications, Pending Approvals, etc...) and the UI freezes

 

 

 

until the pending tasks are displayed

 

 

Once the pending tasks get rendered in the identity console a user will regain control over the UI.
