How To Use The Oracle Access Manager (OAM) Policy REST API (Doc ID 2598217.1)

Purpose

This document is intended to provide information about the OAM Policy REST API.  There is also an attached Postman collection for the REST API which has been tested against OAM 12c, although it is generally expected to work with any OAM version which supports the Policy REST API.

Scope

This document is not intended to serve as a replacement for the OAM documentation.  Literals in this document which contain implementation specific examples have been replaced with labels in angle brackets (‘<’ and ‘>’)...these can be differentiated from XML will either be self terminated, for example <tag/> or will have a matching end tag, for example, </tag>.  Additionally, where XML examples are used there is a single tag per line at most.
