Accessing Oracle HTTP Server Fails with "client denied by server configuration" and "403 Forbidden" (Doc ID 2603334.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to access applications through Oracle HTTP Server(OHS), the following error occurs in the error log which results in a 403 Forbidden error seen by the user.

AH01630: client denied by server configuration:<PATH>

 Custom DocumentRoot configuration has been added to a virtual host.
