Symptoms

Oracle Internet Directory (OID) 12c dispatcher log oiddispd01-<PID>.log shows errors:

OID does not shutdown cleanly sometimes. Zombie oidmon.exe process shown in Task Manager after OID is stopped, and keeps trying to start oiddispd process. Need to restart / reboot the Windows server to work around this issue.
