Last updated on DECEMBER 16, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle WebLogic Server - Version 12.1.2.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Here are some questions:

Q1. Can JMS services migrate in a cluster having UOO enabled (for strict ordered processing) using WebLogic service migration without affecting it sequence of its messages?

Q2. Can it be recovered pending messages associated with a UOO from a persistent store file and put it manually into JMS queue of a server and get it processed?

Q3. If a cluster member server is shutdown or it is failed and not coming up, in that case how the messages present in its member queue will get processed? Will the other server in cluster be able to process it? What if UOO is enabled and it was sending messages to server which has failed and not coming up.
