Viewing Portal After Upgrading From 11g To 12c Causes the Screen to Freez (Doc ID 2610044.1)

Symptoms

Viewing a portal after upgrading from 11g to 12c causes the screen to freeze.

The pages are displayed but they are not functional.
Selecting any link or action in the page results in a "frozen" page.

The action menu for pages within the Portal is broken as well.

The portal diagnostic log shows the following errors:

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Connect to WebCenter Portal.

  2. View the portal.

  3. Attempt to perform any operations in the page.
