Symptoms

Reference documentation:

Oracle® Fusion Middleware Administering Oracle Unified Directory 12c (12.2.1.3.0)
Chapter 19 Managing Users and Groups
Section 19.2.2.2 Creating a New Root User
Subsection "Suppose, for example, that you want to give a particular user the right to backup and restore a database, but no other administrative privileges."

A "successful" online backup has error when using a non-<DS_ADMIN> default root / admin account configured as above.

Running an online backup with a user with "backend-backup" privilege. From the error logs, it appears the the backup executes successfully, however, from the command line, getting the following message:

There are no tasks defined with ID '<ID>'

The message does not occur when using the cn=<DS_ADMIN> account itself.

The message occurs consistently with non-<DS_ADMIN> account.

The backup is successful when the privilege "bypass-acl" is added to the Backup User, however, this is not desirable.
