EUS Login Failure of AD Users Proxied by OUD: LdapErr: DSID-0C090CE0, comment: Error in attribute conversion operation (Doc ID 2612535.1)

Symptoms

Users are unable to login to database via Enterprise User Security with an OUD proxy backend and passwords stored in Active Directory.

The following error message appears in the OUD access log file when trying to login:
