Exalogic Virtual 2.0.6.4.X: EoIB Networks on OL6 & OL7 Guest vServers Not Working When Doing SM Master Failover On IB Switches

Symptoms
In Exalogic Virtual racks running with 2.0.6.4.X versions older than July 2020 PSU, issue is seen on OL6 & OL7 Guest vServers where EoIB network stops working when doing SM master failover on the IB Switches.
Looking into the /var/log/messages system logs of the affected VM, what we see notice is both EoIB slaves going down and getting destroyed at the time of the SM master failover as seen below.
