WFR Web Verifier will not Allow Multiple Selections using Multilistbox Dialog Option (Works in Verifier Thick Client)

Goal
Customer has implemented a custom database lookup for WFR 12.2.1.3.0 where the custom lookup button will return all the Purchase Order lines from the EBS table. The resulting dialog should give the option to choose multiple lines. For that reason the customer used Multilistbox dialog in the custom script.
With Multilistbox dialog everything is working as expected in the Verifier thick client but in Web Verifer users are not able to choose multiple lines (or even select single lines). If using the listbox dialog then it is working fine in Web Verifier but that will not help as they want to choose multiple lines at the same time.
