(Doc ID 2620837.1)

Applies to:
Oracle SOA Suite - Version 11.1.1.9.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
Currently, the only options available when trying to restrict access to the DELEGATE action within BPM, the only option is "Assignee".
Customer (and in fact, many others) have very strict company charters dictating who is able to Delegate an approval for Purchasing Documents (Requisitions/Purchase Orders), and other approval documents (Financials, Projects, etc.).
They do not want their approvers performing their own delegation actions, but require a better way to reassign documents for approval instead of having an administrator user manually reassign each approval with the on-leave approver.
Company charter dictates that employees are not allowed to delegate their approvals, however vacation rules are required for on-leave approvers. By the company charter, only administrators are allowed to set up and manage these vacation rules on behalf of the approvers.
