Oracle Enterprise Single Sign-On: Logon Manager

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

Field identified as combo is shown as free text in when user enters credentials in Logon Manager

We have created a logon template using control IDs.One of the fields is assigned a "combo" control type. When testing the template during development, the "New logon" window presented this field as a combo box. Now during UATs in a different machine, the field is presented as a text field and the user is allowed to enter any string.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

The third field combo box is presented as a true combo box and allow the user to select the value from a drop down list in the third field of the New Logon prompt.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

  1. Create an application template with a combo box for the third field.
  2. Publish the template to the repository and refresh the Logon Manager client.
  3. Start the application and observe the third field in the New Logon prompt.

BUSINESS IMPACT

Due to this issue, users cannot use a drop down menu to select the value for the third field when creating a new credential for an application with a combo box.
