WFR WebVerifier Users Receive Error "Secure Authentication failed" When Going Through the Load Balancer (Doc ID 2622890.1)

Symptoms

A user accesses the WFR WebVerifer application using a load balancer URL with two-node IIS services running simultaneously.

The error is:

An error has occurred in the WebCenter Forms Recognition Web Verifier.
Reason: Secure Authentication failed.

This error appears at time at login.

An error also appears during load of the SDP project post-login, and sometimes when the batch is loaded for verification:

ERROR Brainware.Verifier.WebClient.Core.CommandEngine.CommandHandler [(null)] - Secure authentication failed


NOTE: Error does not happen when only one node of IIS is running.

The application is integrated with Windows Native Authentication using AD users.
