Symptoms
Using SQL Developer Data Modeler 19.2 with GIT repository is extremely slow after opening the model and trying to expand the tables or sub views. There is also some slowness just trying to get to the GIT push menu.
The problem occurs when model is large with a large amount of tables and sub views.
The performance is good when opening the model without it being attached to a GIT repository.
GIT takes minutes or much longer, but all Subversion transactions from SQL Developer Data Modeler take only seconds.
