Does Outside In Technology (OIT) API Support 'Base64 encoded string' as Input File During Export Process (Doc ID 2632782.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 27, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle Outside In Technology - Version 8.5.4 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Requirement to use OIT Export SDK to render documents in any external application.  The intent is to render an incoming 'Base64 encoded string'.

The Export API documentation (Java and .Net) details methods accepting INPUT file path and OUTPUT file path.  However, desire is to render a 'Base64 encoded string' that is received from an external system, do not want to store either the file content or the output files on the server.

Does OIT Export API accepts 'Base64 encoded string' as input file?
