WebCenter Enterprise Capture Integration With Microsoft Office (Doc ID 2634014.1)

Currently using WebCenter Enterprise Capture (WEC) 12.2.1.1.0. Capture is integrated with an IBM iNotes email box which is IMAP enabled. This environment is in the process of migrating from iNotes to Microsoft Office 365. With this migration, the email boxes need to be migrated.

What options are available for integrating WEC with Microsoft Outlook? Based on the documentation, it seems that an upgrade to version 12.2.1.3.0 or 12.2.1.4.0 is imperative since in the new version Import job has the functionality to use Microsoft Email Exchange Server (EWS) compatible email servers.

1. Does Microsoft Email Exchange Service (available in Import job in 12.2.1.3.0 or later ) means “Exchange Web Services” or EWS ?
2. Does Capture accept Basic Authentication or does it also accept OAuth?
