Applies to:

Oracle Internet Directory - Version 9.0.4 to 11.1.1 [Release 10gR1 to 11g]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

This document describes how to use DBMS_LDAP function calls to connect to an ldap server using SSL mode, in OID 9.0.2 through 11g.

Note that this document assumes that the ldap server has already been successfully configured to listen for connections over a secure port (SSL) and that ldapsearch commands using the -U parameter are already working successfully.

For more information on how to configure the OID ldap server to work with SSL mode see
