Symptoms

Periodically PSFT connector fails to connect for operations. 

Restart of Oracle Identity Manager (OIM) resolves the issue for a while then the problem returns.

When the issue occurs, errors with "Cannot connect to peoplesoft : java.lang.NullPointerException" are seen in the OIM Managed Server .out log:

In the PSFT logs, there's no indication of the update or connection attempt.
