(Doc ID 2643512.1)
Last updated on APRIL 28, 2021
Applies to:
Java SE JDK and JRE - Version 8 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
When launching a Java Web Start application, the following Security Warning dialog pops up even though the application's signing certificate has a valid certificate chain.
Upon the user clicking the 'Continue' button to continue launching the application, the application works for about 10 minutes and then the same Security Warning pops up again.
This issue began after moving the Web Start application from an on-premise environment to a cloud environment. The cloud environment has a Blue Coat security appliance, which is a security proxy that dynamically generates a new certificate upon every login.
