OGG 19c For Big Data: Property gg.handler.name.EnableTimestampLogicalType Not Getting Enabled When Content Replacement Regex Is In Use (Doc ID 2649222.1)

Symptoms

Using OGG 19c for Big Data loading data into a Confluent Kafka 5.3.1 topic. 

The property gg.handler.name.EnableTimestampLogicalType was added to the properties file but nothing happens to the date field coming from the database. The field in Kafka still shows as string.
