Applies to:

Oracle Data Integrator - Version 12.2.1.3.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When testing a connection to Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW) in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), the following error occurs:

Java.sql.SQLException: encountered a problem with the Secret Store. Check the wallet location for the presence of an open wallet (cwallet.sso) and ensure that this wallet contains the correct credentials using the mkstore utility: java.io.IOException: Unsupported WRL type SOURCE = (METHOD = file) (METHOD_DATA = (DIRECTORY=<WALLET_LOCATION>)))
  at oracle.odi.jdbc.datasource.LoginTimeoutDatasourceAdapter.doGetConnection(LoginTimeoutDatasourceAdapter.java:144)
  ...

The issue can be reproduced by creating a data server under the Oracle technology, with the following wallet location specified in the Properties:

oracle.net.wallet_location = SOURCE = (METHOD = file) (METHOD_DATA = (DIRECTORY=<WALLET_LOCATION>)))
