Veridata Diagnostic/Debug Capture Tool (Doc ID 2650121.1)

Information in this document applies to any platform.


 Purpose of this tool is to capture all the Veridata Specific files from the Customer's box.

When any error is logged by customer, then to diagnose the issue, we would need some logs and configuration files from Customer's machine.

Since these files are segregated, it sometimes becomes a tedious job to get all the required files.


 To overcome this issue, customer can run the tool "Veridata Diagnostics", which will capture all the required files and package them into a single zip which can be uploaded to SR for further troubleshooting.

This tool captures below files:

Veridata Server logs
Veridata Job, Group and Compare-Pair Reports
Veridata out-of-sync files
Veridata Repair reports
Source Agent logs and and their configurations
Target Agent logs and their configurations.

Apart from this, if Customer wants to provide some additional files, then those can also be captured by this tool.
