Goal
The Goal of this document is to provide steps to overcome missing EL7 operating system packages error when installing Fusion Middleware distributions on Oracle Linux 8 or Red Hat Linux 8.
During Fusion Middleware product installation "Checking recommended operating system packages" step failed and incorrectly reported two EL7 packages are missing.
compat-libcap1-1.10: Not Found. Failed
compat-libstdc++-33-3.2.3-x86_64:Not Found. Failed
