Symptoms
OHS (NATIVE) BUNDLE PATCH 12.2.1.3.0(ID:191219.2319) Breaks Oracle Access Manager (OAM) WebGate - Resources Can No Longer Be Accessed
- Applied OHS CPU Bundle <Patch:30687404>
Description: OHS (NATIVE) BUNDLE PATCH 12.2.1.3.0(ID:191219.2319)
Product: Oracle HTTP Server
Release: Oracle HTTP Server 12.2.1.3.0
- OHS log is producing core exceptions:
- Resulting impact is resources that are protected by WebGate/OAM can no longer be accessed.
- Referenced the following OHS Notes:
- Oracle HTTP Server Fails to Start with error " AH00052: child pid 8782 exit signal Segmentation fault (11)" (Doc ID 2324062.1)
- After Installing Latest OHS 12.2.1.3 Bundle Patch OHS Fails to Start with "SSLSessionCache directive is set to none or not configured...." (Doc ID 2534802.1)
After having referenced the above Notes, the issue still persisted.
- Rollback <PATCH:30687404> and restart OHS. The problem is no longer present
- Work Around - As described (Doc ID 2586902.1) ... When using OHS 12c the quick workaround requires that BOTH the SSLSessionCache must be disabled AND the SSLProxySessionCache must be set to "off". The impact of this is a performance hit on the environment and is unexceptionable in some cases.
