"ODI-1212: Session preparation failure" with Accent Mark in Scenario Name (Doc ID 2653886.1)

NOTE: In the examples below, the names represent a fictitious sample for clarity. Any similarity to actual environments, past or present, is purely coincidental and not intended in any manner.

In Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), executing a Scenario fails due to an accent mark in the scenario name. For example,  there is a scenario with the following name:


The error that results upon execution:

oracle.odi.runtime.agent.invocation.InvocationException: ODI-1212: Session preparation failure: scenario F�ICO does not exist in work repository <WORK_REPOSITORY>.

Note that message indicates that "Í" is processed as unknown character "�" in the error.
