Oracle SOA File Poller To Reprocessing Files (Doc ID 2657962.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 01, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle SOA Suite - Version 12.2.1.3.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Test scenario:
1. Oracle SOA 12.2.1.3 with DFS share mounted over cifs
2. Simple composite application (configured as singleton) deployed which polls for files in DFS directory and moves them to some subdirectory
3. When file is first created (that matches inbound file regexp) it's consumed and moved to specified subdirectory as expected
4. From explorer (used to manage the DFS resources) there's operation of copy subdirectory file and paste into composite inbound directory (simple reprocessing of the same file) - file is not consumed by the poller.

Reprocessing scenario is something business want's to perform occasionally and would be nice to have this simple copy/paste from explorer working as well.
