Symptoms

Running the upgradeWebCenterPortalcommand Results in the following error: 

ERROR 

[TRACE]: Failed to upgrade WebCenter Portal application.

STEPS 

  1. Run the upgradeWebCenterPortal WLST command to complete the upgrade from WebCenter Portal from 11g to 12.
  2. Review the UpgradeDiagnostic.log.
    This error will be displayed:

    [TRACE]: Failed to upgrade WebCenter Portal application.

 

Changes

Upgrade WebCenter Portal from 11g to 12c.
