In OAM 11.1.2.2 and later, users already authenticated by OAM are unexpectedly challenged for credentials when accessing a resource.  This may occur during federation, or when accessing a resource on a WebGate that the user had not previously visited, such as when going from one application to another.  The following warning level message may appear in the OAM managed server diagnostic logs:
