Issue With Configuring Database As Target In OPAM (Doc ID 2659438.1)

Oracle Privileged Account Manager: Administration UI

Issue with configuring a Database target type in OPAM.

When attempting to add a new database target type in the OPAM Self Service Admin UI, an error message appears when testing the connection.  


ERROR
Test Failed

Reason: Invalid connection details, see server log for details.

 

The opam_server1-diagnostic server log contains the following error:


STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  1. Login to the OPAM Self Service Administration UI.
  2. Attempt to configure a new Database target type.
  3. Click on Test to test the connection to the database server target.

 

BUSINESS IMPACT
Due to this issue, OPAM administrators cannot add the database target in the OPAM Self Service Admin UI.
