Symptoms

User needs secret key regenerated - Generating A New Key For A User Fails "The secret key already exists"

Scenario

  • User generated a secret key to use in Oracle Mobile Authenticator (using the API for administering the secret key ... http://ms_oauth/resources/userprofile/secretkey) and used it successfully to register in Mobile/Windows OMA App
  • After sometime, the User wants to switch Mobile/Laptop and does not remember his secret key
  • User tries to generate a new secret key (using the API for administering the secret key ...  http://ms_oauth/resources/userprofile/secretkey) but gets the error '"The secret key already exists"

How can the User retrieve existing key or generate a new key?
