Symptoms

Oracle Enterprise Single Sign-On: Password Reset

The following error is displayed when attempting to change the Reset Service account in the ESSO Password Reset Service Web Administration Console in the Firefox web browser on Windows Server 2012 R2.


ERROR

Unable grant 'Logon as Service' privilege: 0xc0000022



STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  1. Logon to the ESSO Password Reset Service Web Administration Console UI in the Firefox web browser.
  2. Click on System.
  3. Click on Reset Service
  4. Enter the Username and Password for the new Reset Service account.
  5. Click Submit 

BUSINESS IMPACT
Due to this issue, Administrators cannot update the Reset Service Account in the Password Reset Service Web Administration Console.
