Symptoms

In Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12.2.1.3.190708, and possibly earlier, a Variable is used to retrieve the BATCH_GUID, with code like the following:

This Variable was used in a Package.

A scenario was created for this Package and the scenario was used in another Package. When this Package scenario is called from a Load Plan, the process runs to a successful completion but the Variables do not return any values.

This issue started appearing after the upgrade of ODI from 12.2.1.2.6 to 12.2.1.3.190708.
