Golden Gate 19c CURL logging to /var file system

Using following CURL type of statements to monitor Golden Gate processes in our Production environment.

curl -u <Username>:<password> -H "Content-Type: application/json" -H "Accept: application/json" -X GET http://<IP>:<port>/services/v2/extracts/<EXT NAME>/info/status

While using the commands, curl is writing temporary/log information into var file system which belongs to root user.

Is it possible to change this logging as the /var file system filling up by GG CURL?
