"Error: Error reading domain" When Starting Standalone Reports Server Using startComponent.sh Script on Node2 In Cluster Environment (Doc ID 2664521.1)

Symptoms

Running Forms and Reports version 12.2.1.4 on a Linux server in an Active-Active Cluster environment (2 node cluster in this example).
You have created a Standalone Reports Server <REP1> on NODE1, and <REP2> on NODE2.

Attempting to start or stop the <REP2> Reports Server Component on NODE2 using the startComponent.sh script fails with the following error:

<NODE2_DOMAIN_HOME/bin>$ ./startComponent.sh <REP2>
Starting system Component ...

Initializing WebLogic Scripting Tool (WLST) ...

Welcome to WebLogic Server Administration Scripting Shell

Type help() for help on available commands

Reading domain from <NODE2_DOMAIN_HOME>
Error: runCmd() failed. Do dumpStack() to see details.
Error: Error reading domain:
60820: Unsupported Domain
60820: This domain is a managed domain. It has been scaled out from the original domain.
60820: Select a domain which is a compatible with this environment.


Exiting WebLogic Scripting Tool.

Done


However, do not encounter the same issue on NODE1.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following step:

 [NODE2:<DOMAIN_HOME>/bin] ./startComponent.sh <REP2>
 
However, same works on NODE1:

 [NODE1:<DOMAIN_HOME>/bin] ./startComponent.sh <REP1>

This is a new Forms/Reports 12.2.1.4 installation - Active-Active cluster environment.
