ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

Importing a portal Gets Stuck at 75%.

The first 75% of the import is pretty quick.
The last part of the import takes about 2 hours to complete.

After waiting for some time the Portal finally is imported.


EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

Expect the Portal to import smoothly without having performance issues.


STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Export the affected portal.
   
   
   
2. Import the affected portal to a target instance.
   Here you will see the import is getting stuck.
   
   e.g.:
   • Start the import from wlst:
     
     importWebCenterPortals(appName='webcenter',fileName='<EXPORT_FILENAME>.par',names='<PORTAL_NAME>', forceOffline=1, server='WC_Portal',importLog='<IMPORT_LOG_NAME>.log', overwrite=1,importSharedAssets=0, importPortalContent=0)
     
     

   • You will see the import starts to run and shows this:

     Starting portal import.

     Portal(s) import started...

     Adding connections...

     ...Import 25% complete...

     Importing "<portal-name>"

     ...Import 50% complete...

     ...Import 75% complete...

     << At this point the import gets stuck for about 2 hours >>
