Unlocking of Weblogic Admin Account if the Lockout Policy is Enabled

Handling the weblogic admin account if it becomes locked out.
The lockout feature is being enabled on the weblogic server to control failed attempts to login.
For the regular weblogic users other than admin, the accounts can be unlocked using admin account.
But if the weblogic default admin user account gets locked it seems it may be needed to reset the embedded ldap which results in the deletion of weblogic users.
What would be an alternative procedure to unlock the default weblogic account without losing the weblogic existing user accounts?
