Purpose

Original EECS 2.0.6.4.0 was released with firmware version v2.2.9-3 on NM2-GW Infiniband Switches. So installing Exalogic Virtual release 2.0.6.4.0 on racks with Infiniband Switches with Firmware version 2.2.10-1 or higher following issues will be encountered.

  1. ECU step failures.
  2. Infiniband Switches discovery failing from EMOC and vDC not being displayed under vDC Management Accordion.

This MOS Note provides information on one off patches that have to be applied as part of 2.0.6.4.0 Virtual install to avoid running into above issues.
